Shri Mahavatar Param Babaji
Mahavatar Param Babaji is revered by millions of spiritual seekers as the immortal Himalayan Master. Though largely hidden from public view, his influence has profoundly shaped modern spirituality through the revival of Kriya Yoga — the ancient science of God-realization, made known to the world through Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi.
The Revival of Kriya Yoga
In the nineteenth century, Mahavatar Babaji reintroduced the sacred science of Kriya Yoga through his disciple Yogavatar Lahiri Mahasaya. This powerful spiritual technique was subsequently transmitted through the lineage of Sri Yukteswar Giri, Paramahansa Yogananda, and many other enlightened masters.
Kriya Yoga is regarded as a scientific method for accelerating spiritual evolution, calming the mind, purifying consciousness, and awakening the soul's innate connection with the Divine.
